What does this Committee do? (A) This Committee is charged with leading the Presbytery in Evangelism and the development of new congregations within Presbytery. Pastors of new Church developments are under its jurisdiction, as well as the Committee on Minister & Church Relations. Members of the Presbyterian Church in America directly involved in new Church development prior to congregational organization would also be under the jurisdiction of this Committee.
(B) This Committee is charged with leading the Presbytery into development of its resources for the proclamation of the Gospel in foreign countries of the world. This Committee should keep the Presbytery informed about the Missionaries of the General Assembly working in foreign countries.
The administrative functions of this Committee are to be coordinated by a salaried Mission Coordinator under the oversight of this Committee.
